The case for the man charged in the 2016 deadly mass shooting in the Kalamazoo area will go before the Michigan Court of Appeals.

The three-judge panel will hear arguments Tuesday on whether incriminating statements made by Jason Dalton after police arrested him, can be used as evidence at trial.

Dalton faces 16 criminal counts including murder in connection with the February 2016 shootings that left six dead and two others injured.
