BARRY COUNTY, Mich. — A search for a missing elderly couple ended with good news. The couple was found safe in Oceana County around 11 a.m.
A passerby found their car in Oceana County where the couple had run out of gas.
The Barry County Sheriff's Office said the couple was unharmed, but tired from the long drive and time spent missing.
Deputies are unsure as to why the couple was in Oceana County.
The couple went missing Christmas Eve when they left a friend's home but never made it back to their house in Orangeville Township
Family members contacted police on Christmas Day.
