LANSING, Mich. (WSYM) - Eight people were hospitalized in a two vehicle crash Saturday afternoon near Lansing's downtown area.
The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Grand River Avenue and Larch Street.
Crews believe a Chrysler car was traveling eastbound on Grand River Avenue when it t-boned a mini van heading north on Larch Street.
Air bags went off in the mini van.
First responders say Injuries from the crash do not appear to be life threatening.
Lansing and Lansing Township ambulances responded to the crash.
Crews had the intersection cleaned up and back open to traffic within a half hour.
The crash remains under investigation.
