DELHI TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A portion of Eifert Road in Delhi Township will be closing beginning Monday, June 24 for storm sewer construction.
The construction zone on Eifert Road is between Harper and Nichols Roads.
Crews with Ingham County will be working in the area for about four weeks.
Traffic will be detoured to Aurelius Road via Wilcox Road on the north and Columbia Road on the south.
Residents living on Eifert Road will continue to have access to their homes and Ironwood Links Golf Course will also remain open during the construction.
The Ingham County Drain Commissioner says the new storm sewer will relieve longstanding flood problems within the Aurelius and Delhi Consolidated Drain.
