LANSING, Mich. — The city of East Lansing is closing down part of Michigan Avenue this weekend.
Starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 26, eastbound Michigan Avenue at Reniger Court will be closed to accommodate work for the ongoing Infrastructure Restructure project.
Eastbound traffic will be detoured north on Homer Street and east on Saginaw Street to Grand River Avenue and Michigan Avenue.
Advanced signage will be in place to guide motorists along the detour route.
The road is expected to reopen in the early morning hours of Monday, July 29.
