LANSING, Mich. — The city of East Lansing has settled a lawsuit with a former employee.
Troy Williams will get $125,000 from the city after a city council vote Tuesday night.
Williams is a former wastewater treatment plant employee.
His lawsuit alleged he was fired in retaliation for reporting health and safety violations to state agencies and filing a workers' compensation claim.
