Many schools are closed today for the President's Day holiday, and if you want to get the kids outside, you might want to check out the pop-up ice skating rink at Valley Court Park in East Lansing.
The new rink can hold up to 50 skaters at a time, and it's free.
The rink was closed Friday afternoon and Saturday because the ice just wasn't thick enough. It was open Sunday, and skaters are expected again to lace up their ice skates today.
However, you are advised to check the downtown East Lansing Facebook page, or the website first before you go.
The skating rink will be open through February 25 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m.
