#ReclaimMSU is a coalition of Michigan State University students, staff and faculty who say the leadership at MSU needs to change.

“This community needs to heal”, said Nassar survivor Kaylee Lorincz.

“The survivors need to heal and with these leaders that will not happen.

#ReclaimMSU along with hundreds of protesters called for the resignation of the board of trustees along with Interim President John Engler Friday.

They say the current administration are not properly handling sexual assault complaints on campus.

“All the student bodies uniting and coming together as a family and just trying to fight something as disgusting and evil as this administration”, said MSU senior David Manion.

An administration that Nassar survivors say enabled the former doctor to sexually abuse hundreds of women.

“It's time for them to grow up and step down”, said Nassar survivor Morgan McCaul.

“These calls for resignation are not just coming from Nassar survivors, this isn't fake news. This is coming from MSU students, MSU faculty, Spartan fans, alumni, donors, they need to listen.”

A message that protesters say the administration needs to hear.

“I think the goal is to just put pressure on them to let them know that they are continuously doing wrong”, explained MSU Sexual Assault Crisis Intervention leader Anna Cumming.

“And that they have not ever done right by survivors.”

The Faculty Senate and numerous other organizations are also calling for new leadership at MSU.
