Drivers should be prepared to be delayed during the E. Lansing homecoming parade on Friday.
The East Lansing High School Homecoming Parade starts at 5:30 p.m. resulting in multiple road closures in the area.
Streets will be closed at 5:20 p.m. and will reopen to traffic by about 6.
The parade starts at the high school and goes from Burcham Drive to M.A.C. Avenue to Albert Avenue to Bailey Street and back to Burcham Drive and the high school. A map of the parade route can be found on the East Lansing Public Schools website:
Drivers can be expected to see police along the route to assist with the street closures.
The homecoming game follows the parade at the high school.
The Trojans welcome the Dewitt Panthers to the yard. Both teams are undefeated. The game starts at 7 PM.
