LANSING, Mich. — The East Lansing City Council will be discussing the building of skyscrapers at their meeting Tuesday night.
A formal public hearing will be held addressing whether or not to rezone properties along Evergreen Avenue, which is owned by Downtown Development Authority. The area is just north of the People's Church.
The rezoning would allow construction of new buildings up to eight stories, or 112 feet high.
The meeting starts at 7 p.m. and is open to the public to voice their concerns.
