Lansing Fire Investigators are working to find out the cause of an early morning fire on the city's west side.
Firefighters were called to a house in the 800 block of Buffalo Street at 5:52 a.m.
When crews arrived, heavy smoke and flames were shooting from the house.
Lansing Fire officials tell FOX 47 News, people were inside at the time, but were able to safely escape the burning home.
The fire is now out. No firefighter was hurt fighting the blaze.
