The Lansing Police Department is investigating a single-car accident that happened on the city's south side.
The Lansing Police Department and Lansing Fire Department were dispatched to the intersection of Jolly Road and Martin Luther King Jr., Boulevard just after 12:30 a..m. Monday after a car crashed into a telephone pole.
The impact of the crash nearly cut the pole in half and part of the pole was seen leaning on the front of the car.
The driver of the vehicle was not hurt, police said.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation by the Lansing Police Department at this time.
