LANSING, Mich. — The fast few days of summer seem grim, but there's still a chance to enjoy some outdoor festivities.
The annual Eagle Fair Days are back in town Sept. 5 through Sept. 8.
Exhibits, merchant booths, a beer tent and ball tournaments are just some of the activities happening at the event.
On Friday, there's an Ox roast at 6 p.m. followed by a beer tent that will be open from 6 p.m. until 1 a.m. No one under the age of 21 is allowed in the tent after 5 p.m. Live entertainment will also be provided from 7:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m.
There will also be a Demo-car scramble at 7:30 p.m. The gates open at 5 p.m., registration is open from 5-6:30 p.m. Drivers will be meeting at 7 p.m. Admission is $10, kids 4 to 10 get in for $5 and kids under 3 get in for free. For more information, contact Jeff Oberg 517-712-1302.
On Saturday, the event runs from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Here's the schedule for Saturday as listed on the Eagle Fair Days website:
-10 a.m. Bake Sale in Exhibit Hall

1 p.m. Kiddie Tractor Pulls, Registration 12:30 p.m. at Tennis Court
2 p.m. Kornhole Tourney, Kountry Kornhole and Fat Boy Boards will be hosting a double elimination cornhole tourney in the beer tent at Eagle Days. Parking is free and entry to the beer tent and fair is free. 2 divisions: social $20 per team and competitive $40 per team. ACL rules. Bring your own bags. Cash payouts. 3 p.m. Pulled Pork
