It'll be up to East Lansing voters once again if a city income tax gets approved or not.
The East Lansing City Council voted Monday Night to put the issue on the August ballot.
Voters rejected it last November.
It would tax residents at one percent, and non-residents who work in the city a half percent.
Council members believe it will pass this time claiming this proposal is less confusing and that it lays out the plan for where the revenue is going.
