A drone in Japan captured dramatic images over the weekend of the extent of the landslides triggered by earthquakes in the southern part of the country.

More than 40 people have died and more than 1,000 were injured since the first earthquake on Thursday.

About 180,000 people have been evacuated to shelters. Rescue workers are still trying to free people who are trapped under the landslide.

Disaster officials are warning people to brace for more aftershocks.
