Overall, drivers had mixed reviews on the road conditions after the big storm on Wednesday.
FOX 47's Marcus Dash was in the snow and talked to drivers around Lansing. One driver he spoke with told him that Michigan had such a mild fall that they all forgot how bad winter can get in this state.
Some said they were scared to drive on the highway, because the roads were so slick, and driving next to big trucks only makes it more troublesome.
Everyone Marcus talked to said that plow trucks need to do a better job of fixing the side roads.
People are afraid that whatever is on the ground is going to freeze over and make Thursday's commute horrible.
One of the people Marcus Dash spoke with spent his day salting and plowing the roads. That gentleman will be getting up at two a.m. with his crew and will continue to plow and salt the roads as needed.
