LANSING, Mich. — New information has been released regarding the Amish buggy crash in Eaton County last week that killed three children.
Eaton County Sheriff Tom Reich said the driver of the car that hit the buggy is an 83 year old Eaton County resident.
The sheriff said the investigation is still ongoing.
The driver's name will be released once the investigation is complete and has been reviewed by the prosecutor's office for possible charges.
Four siblings were on their way home from an Amish school when their buggy was hit from behind.
They ranged in age from 6 to 13.
Three of them were killed.
The 6-year-old survived.
