A driver crashes into a utility pole after a suspected drag race.
It happened on the 3000 block on south MLK Blvd. near Dunlap Street around 3:00a.m. Saturday.
Witnesses told police that two cars were drag racing down MLK Blvd when one of the drivers lost control.
Police say no one was injured in the crash but debris from the utility pole did cause damage to several cars in a nearby parking lot.
They also say drugs and alcohol were not factors in the accident.
No arrests were made.
