A driver slammed into a police patrol car around midnight on Coolidge Road near Harvard Street in East Lansing.
Police say the officer taking making a U-turn after they saw someone fixing a flat tire. The driver behind him smashed into the patrol car.
Coolidge Road was closed down for about an hour so police could investigate. No one was injured.
