A driver in East Lansing is in custody after hitting a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
It happened just before 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning at the corner of Saginaw Highway and Abbott Road.
Police say three people were crossing the street on Abbott Road, when a driver traveling westbound on Saginaw hit one of them and kept going.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injures.
Officers were able to locate the driver a short time later.
They were taken into custody.
Police are investigating and believe alcohol may have been a factor.
