LANSING, Mich. — The driver and passenger of a Chevrolet Impala are both deceased.
Susan McMillen, 63, and her mother and passenger Peggy McMillen, 84, of Dewitt, were identified by Michigan State Police. Susan was pronounced dead on scene, and Peggy was taken to the hospital where she later died from her injuries.
The driver of the Ford pickup, 25-year-old Trenton Saltsman, was treated at the scene and released.
The crash happened on Francis Road at Clark Road in Watertown Township on Friday, Dec. 27 around 3 p.m.
Police said the Chevrolet Impala was driving westbound on Clark Road and stopped for the stop sign on Clark Road at Francis Road.
The Impala then pulled out onto the path of an on-coming Ford pickup that was heading northbound on Francis Road.
