A judge set a September 21st preliminary hearing today for the man accused of causing a deadly two car accident in Livingston county last may.
Matthew Carrier is charged with second-degree murder and operating while intoxicated causing death.
Police say he killed two of his friends, and three others.
The preliminary hearing will determine if there's enough evidence against him to send his case to trial.
The crash happened on M-59 at Argentine Road in Oceola township.
Prosecutors say Carrier was drunk when he blew through a stop sign and T-boned another vehicle.
State police said Carrier's vehicle was traveling at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour.
The vehicle he hit was traveling eastbound on M-59.
