LANSING, Mich. — The mysterious deaths of American tourists in the Dominican Republic will remain a mystery for now.

The Dominican Government was supposed to release the toxicology report from the FBI on Monday, but the news conference was canceled at the last minute.

Dominican authorities say the results were only partial.

11 Americans died at multiple resorts last spring.

One tourist from Michigan survived her trip but it wasn't easy.

Fox 47 introduced you to Chase Tracy in June.

She went to the Dominican Republic for Spring Break in 2018.

She got violently ill for more than two weeks within a month after she got home.

Doctors told her it was a parasite that could have caused long-term problems if she hadn't been treated.

We talked to Tracy on Monday and she told us that she is doing much better but still has a long way to go.
