A family dog dies in a late night house fire in Lansing.
Firefighters rushed to the 800 block of Hickory Street last night around 11:30.
Authorities tell us the people who lived in the home got out safely with one of their pets, the other dog died inside.
The house is a total loss. No word yet on the cause.
