Does consulting Dr. Google help, or hurt?

Many of us turn to the internet for health information, but does consulting Dr. Google help or hurt?
A new study conducted in Australia suggests the pros mostly outweigh the cons.

It showed hunting for medical advice online did increase anxiety among 40-percent of surveyed patients.
But more than three-quarters said what they learned on the web was helpful.

They were able to ask more informed questions, understand medical jargon and better communicate with the doctor.
