Dierks Bentley coming to Common Ground

Posted

Country music star Dierks Bentley has been announced as the first performer to join the lineup for the 2016 Common Ground Music Festival.

The festival will take place along the Adado Riverfront in downtown Lansing July 5-10. Bentley will headline the festival on Saturday, July 9.

The Nashville based singer/songwriter kicked off his career in 2003 with his debut single “What Was I Thinkin’” that reached number one on the Billboard Hot Country songs. Thirteen years and seven albums later, the two-time CMA winner and 12-time Grammy nominee just released his newest single “Somewhere on a Beach”. His much anticipated eighth studio album, Black, will be released in the coming months followed by his co-hosting gig at the annual ACM Awards alongside Luke Bryan in April 2016.

Single day tickets for Saturday, July 9 will go on sale to the public on Friday, January 29 at 10 AM EST, with more of Saturday’s lineup to be announced soon. Fans on the Common Crew email list will have access to a limited number of tickets at a special pre-sale price beginning Tuesday, January 26 at 10:00 AM EST.

Tickets can be purchased at Common Ground's website.
