Ingham County Sheriff's Office deputies are searching for three people who led officers on a chase Sunday morning.
A deputy tried to stop the car at Dunkel near U.S. 127 in Lansing. The driver refused to pull over.
After a short chase, three people jumped out of the car and ran, leaving the vehicle rolling down Aurelius Road just north of Irving.
Lt. Steve Sopcy from the Ingham County Sheriff's Office said, "I guess if there's anything typical about pursuits that end up ending this way with people fleeing from the vehicles (is that) they typically run in different directions and that's exactly what happened in this situation."
Officers brought in K9 teams, but at last check, they hadn't found the suspects.
There's no word on why the officer tried to pull the car over.
