A German Shepard that was at the Ionia County Animal Shelter was stolen, and the sheriff’s office is asking the public’s help in locating the dog.
The dog, named Major, was taken from the shelter on Thursday, Sept. 8 between 3 and 6 p.m., the Ionia County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Deputies are continuing to investigate the incident, and anyone with information can contact the sheriff’s office at 616-527-5737 or Silent Observer at 616-527-0107.
