DELTA TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Eaton County Sheriff's Office is investigating a suspicious death in Delta Township.
A body was found near Old Lansing and Lansing roads Thursday morning.
Officers from the Michigan State Police K9 Unit were still on scene investigating Thursday afternoon.
Eaton County Sheriff's officials are not releasing any further details about the investigation but neighbors say the road was shut down for hours.
Business owners in the area say there was a large police presence in the area around 7 a.m. that lasted until about noon.
Witnesses say the coroner was also on scene along with officials from the fire department.
