House Democrats called for action on Tuesday regarding the state's PFAS crisis.

They want legislation created for better and safer water quality standards.

They are also demanding oversight hearings that will provide answers to Michiganders about numerous reports that were kept from the public about PFAS in water.

House Democratic Leader Sam Singh (D-East Lansing); House Democratic Floor Leader Christine Greig (D-Farmington Hills); and state Reps. Winnie Brinks (D-Grand Rapids), Pam Faris (D-Clio), Kevin Hertel (D-St. Clair Shores), Jon Hoadley (D-Kalamazoo), Donna Lasinski (D-Scio Township), Yousef Rabhi (D-Ann Arbor), and Bill Sowerby (D-Clinton Township) were in attendance.
