Lansing Police are reporting a shooting that happened just before 9 p.m. on W. Lapeer Street.
When they arrived at the scene in the 400 block of Lapeer Street they found a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The victim is Anthony Lorenzo Yarber of Lansing.
At this time, detectives are considering the death suspicious.
They also say there is no threat to the public.
