According to the Michigan DNR no applications will be accepted after August 1.
The application fee is five dollars, and licenses must be purchased through an authorized licensing agent, or online.
The 2017 turkey season starts September 15th and runs thru November 14th.
More than 50,000 turkey hunting licenses are available.
