EAST LANSING, Mich. — Michigan State Spartans football head coach Mark Dantonio announced several staff moves at Thursday's press conference.

He says no assistant coaches are leaving.

The key changes are on the offensive side of the ball.

Brad Salem goes from quarterbacks coach to offensive coordinator; Dave Warner moves from offensive coordinator back to quarterbacks coach, Mark Staten moves from offensive line coach to tight ends coach and Jim Bollman moves from co-offensive coordinator to offensive line coach.

"We did that for a number of reasons. I think they bring a great wealth of knowledge from an offensive perspective and it stays in the offense, obviously. I've always been the type of person, you know I'm a fox hole guy and I don't apologize for that in any respect, so I believe in surrounding myself with loyal people. I believe in digging in when things get tough," Dantonio said.

These are the key changes but no personnel on the assistants staff will depart.
