Customers complain about USPS package delay

Posted

It is Christmas crunch time, if you are still waiting on a package, you are not alone.

People all over the United States have taken to Twitter to voice their concerns about package delays.
More and more people are doing their holiday shopping online, which means post offices across America are dealing with a lot more packages than they're used to.

Sabrina Todd of the Greater Michigan Postal Service says this year has been one for the books.
Todd says she hasn't heard of any delays in deliveries here in mid-Michigan.

She says USPS hired more people ahead of the holiday to help out and that they've been doing all they can to get your packages to you on time.

If you're still waiting on a package, Todd says there are a few things you can do to help track it down. She says all packages should be scanned at each step of the delivery process. So if you're not seeing an updates, you need to contact the company you bought the item from.

Todd says you can also call the USPS help line, so your local post office may be able to help you find your package.
