A little taste of Mexico made its way to Lansing.
The annual "Cristo Rey Fiesta" kicked off Friday night.
The event features a market,,music,,dancing,,a beer tent,,and of course tons of authentic mexican food.
Organizers say they've been cooking all week to get things ready.
Fiesta Chairman, Manuel Delgado said the event is a good kick-off to the Mid-Michigan festival season and it helps bring people together.
"We've got people from all over the country, from Texas, from Florida, from Illinois. They come here to be at the fiesta."
The event runs through Sunday night. It's free to get in before five o'clock.
After that it's five dollars.
