IONIA, Mich. (WSYM) - Ionia Department of Public Safety officers responded to a house fire in the early morning hours Sunday.
It happened in the 400 block of Beresford Street just after 3 a.m. in the city of Ionia.
Crews found a large fire burning on the back side of the house when they arrived.
The flames were quickly put out.
Ionia Public Safety Officers were assisted by Saranac Community Fire Department, who provided a R.I.T., Ionia Co Sheriff's Office, and Michigan State Police.
