Seven people are out of their home and two firefighters receive medical attention during a fire in Lansing Tuesday afternoon.
The fire started around 1 p.m. at a two-story home in the 900 block of East Kalamazoo Street. The fire department says there is significant damage to the home.
Everyone was able to get out of the home safely. However, two firefighters were treated for minor smoke inhalation.
Firefighters are investigating the cause.
Kalamazoo Street between Hosmer Street and Pennsylvania Avenue was closed for a time, while firefighters knock down the blaze.
