Credit card thieves hit up gas pumps in mid-Michigan again.
A card skimmer was just found at a gas station in Delta Township.
Eaton County Sheriff Tom Reich says a gas station employee making a scheduled check of the pumps found the credit card skimmer inside the pump.
Sheriff's deputies were called in, and removed the skimmer.
The sheriff says thanks to workers checking the pumps, it doesn't appear at this time that any customers' credit card information was stolen.
The sheriff did not identify which station in Delta Township the skimmer was found at.
It takes a criminal less than two minutes to sneak a credit card skimmer inside a pump, which is why state officials have been inspecting pumps all year long.
