Good news for ford truck owners. The 2016 F-150 was the only full-size pickup to score a top rating in new front crash tests.
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety says the crew cab and extended cab performed well in tests that mimic what would happen if it ran off the road and hit something at forty miles per hour.
The Ram pickup was the worst performer followed by the Toyota Tundra, GMC Sierra and Chevy Silverado.
