A Clinton County Child Protective Services investigator is accused of sexually assaulting a minor.

Daniel William Hulings of Bath Twp. is charged with seven counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct.

A hearing on Wednesday may determine if he will stand trial for sexual assault.

Hulings has pleaded not guilty and faces 15 years in prison if convicted.

The State Department of Health and Human Services says Hulings was suspended without pay when the allegations came to light.

His accuser is a person known to him, but was not associated with any cases he was investigating.
