CP Federal Credit Union’s community education program teaches our young members how to save, share and spend their money wisely, through our financial literacy and student run credit union programs. This year, the financial education department focused on helping young people envision their future, and encouraging them to picture it, plan for it and save for it. To complement the work CP Federal does in schools, the topic for this essay/video scholarship asked students to address the following questions:
· How do you picture your future after college?
· What are you doing to plan for it?
· How will you inspire others to live a life well lived?
· How will this scholarship be your partner in writing a life story that stretches beyond your imagination?
CP Federal Credit Union is committed to delivering on their vision of being your partner in writing a life story that stretches beyond your imagination. The Partners in Education scholarship program is designed to help further educational opportunities for student members. Students are encouraged to write an essay or produce a video that best addresses a specific topic.
As an advocate of financial education, CP Federal Credit Union is proud to offer student run credit unions and financial educations programs in over 50 schools and counting.
