Court Documents: Nassar destroyed files containing child pornography

There is a new federal charge in the sexual assault scandal involving former gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar.

Federal prosecutors added a third count to an indictment on child pornography charges. Court documents say back in September Nassar destroyed the hard drive on his laptop computer, and threw away external drives containing child pornography.

The original indictment was filed in federal court in December.

This new development comes as five more women have asked to be added to a civil lawsuit against Nassar, Michigan State University, Twistars and USA Gymnastics.
