County commissioners from across Mid-Michigan are in Washington DC.
They're attending a conference at the White House, to connect with the Trump administration and let officials know what issues people in Michigan are most concerned about.
Ingham County Commissioner Sarah Anthony says it is a great opportunity. She said, "It is imperative to explore options and voice our concerns about the impact the loss of federal dollars will have on the services we provide to the citizens of Ingham County."
Anthony is in attendance along with other commissioners representing Mid-Michigan.
