Country duo Smithfield to perform at Lansing's Silver Bells

Posted

Texas natives and contemporary country duo, Smithfield, will be the headline performers at the 32nd annual Silver Bells in the City in downtown Lansing.

The event to kick off the holiday season is set for Friday, November 18. Smithfield will perform at the Lansing Center following the fireworks.

Comprised of vocalists Trey and Jennifer, SmithField took the stage by storm with their memorable music and stunning harmonies.

Having grown up together, their onstage chemistry is undeniably genuine and natural. After more than a year of performing together, the country duo headed to Nashville, Tenn. to start a new chapter in their musical career.

After a year had passed, industry executives began to take notice and SmithField started opening for established artists including Eric Paslay, Scotty McCreery, Jana Kramer, Dustin Lynch, Brothers Osborne and Craig Campbell.

This year features even more activities and special outdoor performances during the weekend, all highlighted by the 20th Annual Electric Light Parade on Friday night.

In addition to this year’s headliner, Silver Bells in the City attendees will enjoy performances by nearly 50 regional arts and cultural organizations, school groups, storytellers, theatrical troupes, hand-bell choirs and many others around the downtown area.

Performances include Sweet Adelines and the Capital City Jazz Society at Lansing City Hall; pianist Marina Stojanovska and the Acafellas – A Cappella at the Lansing Center; Taylor Taylor and Joel Tacey’s “Let it Snow Holiday Show” at Capital Area District Libraries – Downtown Lansing branch; Choral and Hand Bell Music of the Season at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church; and much more!
