The cost of your Thanksgiving feast is likely going to be a little less this year compared to years in the past, and that's good news for spenders heading into the holiday season.
According to a new report from Consumer Reports, the cost of a Thanksgiving dinner to feed around 10 people will cost about $48.90, which is down $0.22 from 2017.
Experts say it's because the cost of the Turkey is going down.
Dr. John Newton with the American Farm Bureau says, "The price of Thanksgiving dinner this year is the lowest we've seen since 2010... Turkey supplies remain more than adequate to meet demand of US consumers right now."
Experts however warn that other items that might normally end up in your shopping cart could be more expensive.
This time of the year, other meats from the deli counter tend to be more expensive.
