Eaton County 911 sent out a Nixle advisory for people in the Charlotte area regarding a temporary power outage.
Consumers Energy will be cutting off the power in Charlotte for approximately one hour while they repairs to power lines
The areas in downtown Charlotte that will be affected will be from South and West off McClure St. including Battle Creek/Lawrence (79)/State St.
This will take out the traffic lights as well. Treat all intersections where the lights are not working as four way stops.
