LANSING, Mich. — Power has been restored to 7,000 people in Eaton County at 8:10 a.m., a Consumers Energy spokesperson said.

Consumers Energy said 2,118 customers in the Duck Lake area can expect their power to be restored around 10:30 a.m.

Consumers Energy said the power outage was caused by a tree that fell down on a power line in the Duck Lake area.

Crews are on-site working to restore power to all the affected areas.
