Consumers Energy is mobilizing repairs crews to be ready for the possibility of severe weather in Michigan on Thursday. Thunderstorms are likely into the late afternoon. Some of them could be severe.
Consumers Energy crews will be prepared to deal with outages, downed power lines and other problems. As a reminder, do not touch a downed power line and always assume it is a live wire.
