JACKSON, Mich. — Consumers Energy says it's contributing $10 million to help struggling Michigan families pay their winter heating bills.
On Monday, the company announced up to 7,000 households will be able to get help through the Consumers Affordable Resource for Energy (CARE) Program.
Customers must also meet household income guidelines to qualify. Consumers Energy says Michiganders should call 211 to learn more about community resources available and how to apply
