The sidewalks and parking lots around East Lansing City Hall are going to be a mess for the next few weeks.
Crews started the second phase of construction Wednesday.
They're replacing the concrete curbs and sidewalks on the north and west sides of the building.
They're also going to remove the parking island and add more handicapped spaces.
The project isn't expected to be finished until sometime next month.
